This pendant depicts the norse god Odin on the front, and a viking shield with a dragon design on the reverse.

In Germanic and Norse mythology, Odin was the chief god. He was the son of Bor and Bestla and rose in fame mostly because of the Vikings admiration. During the eighth and ninth centuries, he was known as the supreme god. He can travel to any realm within the 9 Nordic worlds.

This is a large medallion which measures:
1 1/4 inch in diameter, made in white bronze, and oxidized for contrast.
