This beautiful coin pendant is cast from an original widow's mite coin. The coin gets its name from a story in the bible, referring to a very poor widow who gave her last 'penny' (mite), to help the needy in her town. The widow's mite coin was in circulation during the time of Jesus's life, and the originals can be very collectable. This coin is a symbol reminding people to give all they can in service of others who need help. 

The original coin is bronze. We framed the coin in 925 Sterling Silver.
